Welcome family and Friends!

We are serving our second mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This time we are serving in Cebu City in the Philippines. We will be working in the new Cebu temple that was recently completed. This mission will be completely different than our first mission, with lots of new experiences. A different language is spoken here then was spoken in our other mission. Our first mission blog is still available to view. If you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll send you the link.

Here is where I would have liked to soak my heel, in the sulfur soaking pond. I didn't bring a swim suit!

It was a thousand steps to these falls and more to the others!

Next, everyone went hiking up a very difficult rocky trail to some waterfalls in the jungle. My plantar faciitus was ripping on my heel so I could not

Here they are flying all over and being very noisy! The sky was just filled with them, but we didn't get a better picture than this.

Here they are, all nestled in the trees.

I actually found out later that they were not bats at all, but actually were flying foxes! No, they really looked and sounded like bats to me!

We went to a nature park. Yes there was lots of bats during the day!

A little better picture of the slobbery cows!

We found that tricycles are not only for transporting people. The people were acutally were riding on top and on back of driver.

We took the elevator while reading this sign!

We are now leaving the city to go to another island.

So, We jumped into a cab and made way to the airport.

Time to clean Moroni. The temple is closed for two weeks.
