Welcome family and Friends!

We are serving our second mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This time we are serving in Cebu City in the Philippines. We will be working in the new Cebu temple that was recently completed. This mission will be completely different than our first mission, with lots of new experiences. A different language is spoken here then was spoken in our other mission. Our first mission blog is still available to view. If you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll send you the link.

I forgot to blog this explanation of Magellan's death.

This door is on the second floor of our building which leads to the temple directly across the street.

This is the mission president's home which is behind us and next to the temple president's home.

This is the temple president's home which is behind us.

This is the new stake center that is faces our building directly across from us.

We live on the third floor of this building, right in the middle.

I can't take enough pictures of the temple. I am going to paint someday.

A family shopping trip. Notice the eggs in the top of the bag in front under the red helmet. A happy familly!

We are still at LapuLapu where Magellan was killed. I spy a lizard in this tree, maybe the lizard is eating the leaves?

I think the insect that ate these leaves did a beautiful job!

LapuLapu has some nice flowers

The monuments were in a nice park.

I am not sure what these totum poles represent, but I thought they were kind of artisy!

This is a monument of King LapuLapu

King LapuLapu beheaded Magellan. This is a painting of the conflict.

This is where Ferdinand Magellan was killed when he landed in the Philippines
