Welcome family and Friends!

We are serving our second mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This time we are serving in Cebu City in the Philippines. We will be working in the new Cebu temple that was recently completed. This mission will be completely different than our first mission, with lots of new experiences. A different language is spoken here then was spoken in our other mission. Our first mission blog is still available to view. If you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll send you the link.

Hi family and friends, Well, we finally reached our destination after some thirty hours of travel from the time we left the MTC in Salt Lake City. We had to get our luggage at all the terminals and lug them to check in from the first airport to the last, accept for one. None of the airlines seamed to have agreements with each our as far as luggage is concerned. So with sore muscles and tired feet, and lots of hours, we reached our destination. Our apartment is brand new, beautiful and fully furnished. So, life is good, but a little sore.

What have we done for the last year?

Since we returned from our San Pablo Mission, We have visited all our children and grandchildren. Wilson has helped the kids with some minor home repair projects and I've helped with some decorating projects. I have also done a few painting projects, that is painting murals on walls. Here are a few of the paintings I've done.
